Meade County Fair Parade

I had a great time at the Fair Parade today. A huge THANK YOU to those who walked and rode with me – Joe Redmon, Jeff Voelker, Jonah Voelker, Joel Voelker, Karoline Phelps, Miranda Wiglesworth, Donny Ashford, Cannon Ashford, and last, but not least, my family, husband Pat, son Tarl, and granddaughter Scarlett. I cannot thank you enough, especially with the heat we had to endure. I dropped out for a few minutes when we got to the courthouse but then I got in the vehicle and finished it out. It was great seeing everyone and getting hugs from my little friends Anna, Ashley, and Olivia. I appreciate everyone’s support. See you at the fair this week!

A Reminder and Some Updates

Reminder: Absentee voting is now underway in the Meade County Clerk’s Office. If you will be out of town on election day, you can stop by to vote in person or contact us for an absentee ballot.

-I have been doing some campaigning, but my opponent for the primary has withdrawn, so I’m focusing my energy on the office and serving Meade County for now. I have a few signs out at this point, but I won’t be campaigning too much until later this summer. Contact me if you would like a sign for your yard.
-I’ll have a booth at the Meade County Fair. More information to come later.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

Absentee Voting

Anyone who is out of town and will not be back in time for the election can call the County Clerk’s office to request a ballot by mail. In-office absentee voting will begin on April 20th.

To request a ballot by mail, call 270-422-2152.
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Saturday 9:00am – 12:00pm

Let’s make hope for Brooke and Taylor

Please attend the “Let’s make hope for Brooke and Taylor” benefit fish dinner and silent auction for the Keith & Jackie Stiltner Family. The event will be held on March 21st at 4pm at the Muldraugh City Hall Gym. Two of the daughters of this family have a chronic kidney disease; one has just had a kidney transplant and the other one is looking at having one in the near future. All proceeds will go to the family for medical and transportation expenses. Keith Stiltner is a police officer with the Muldraugh Police Department.

Website Updates and a Reminder

We’ve updated the website with a calendar of relevant dates—when to register, when to vote—which we will be updating with more events and information as it becomes available. We also wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that any person who will be 18 by the date of the general election in November can go ahead and register now to vote in the primary election in May.

A Note from Judy

I am running for the office of Meade County Clerk. I have worked in the office for over 19 years and am the current clerk. I hope to have your vote on May 19th so that I can continue to serve your needs.
